About Apoyala
Women have so many roles to play every single day. We are daughters, moms, sisters, friends, employees, bosses, girlfriends, and wives. It is so easy to lose ourselves in all the hectic situations we may go through. That is why it is important to always make time for ourselves. Follow your heart and be the best you can be. Even when times get rough, there is help and motivation available. If we can support one another we can go a long way. That is how I came up with my websites/blogs name, Apoyala means "support her" in Spanish. My mission is to empower each of you ladies to succeed and have confidence by providing you with resources and tools, stories, my lifestyle blogging, and just plain simple social media motivation in English and Spanish (bear with me, it's happening!).

About me |
I'm Estefani, I was born and raised in Northern Virginia.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and minor in Media studies. I had this idea to start a blog/website, please bear with me! I have so many ideas for it but for now I think I'm going to begin by just blogging about things that help me keep going forward with my life and enjoying the effort I put into just being happy. I love to travel, photography, music, nature, food, movies, shopping, painting, and dogs. So, I'm hoping I'll have a lot to blog about. |
What Inspired me to do this |
In 2015 I began to work in a non-profit organization in Washington, DC., as a Case Manager/Adult Instructor. I counseled my clients and truly became a part of their difficult moments. I wanted to do so much for them. I worked with a domestic violence support group and a Parenting Journey group. Leading both of those groups inspired me to want to motivate people even outside of work.
Let's be realistic, we all have difficult moments to face. But we should always do the things we enjoy in life and be proud of the effort we give to being ourselves and enjoying what we love to do! I believe that making the effort to do the things you love is taking care of your mental health, taking care of YOU. Self-love is important, and that is a big part of why I'm here sharing a little bit of my life, hoping to inspire some of you. |
